A student from the Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) at Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar), Dastin Imanuel, won second place in the national poster category at the 2026 National Scientific Meeting (Temilnas), organized by the Association of Clinical Psychologists of the Indonesian Psychological Association (IPK HIMPSI), Sunday (27/9/2026). The competition was held online.

This achievement highlights students’ ability to transform scientific information into visual messages that are informative, engaging, and easy to understand.

Temilnas 2026 is a scientific forum that brings together psychologists, academics, and students from various regions to discuss developments in clinical psychology research and practice. The event was part of the series of activities held in conjunction with the IPK HIMPSI National Conference (Munas).

Under the theme “Professional Synergy in the Digital Era: The Role of Clinical Psychology in Addressing Psychological Crises to Strengthen National Resilience,” the forum highlighted the use of digital technology in psychological services and efforts to strengthen the psychological resilience of the community.

Chair of the Central Board of IPK HIMPSI Naftalia Kusumawardhani, M.Si., Psikolog, emphasized the importance of leveraging technological advancements to support psychological services. According to her, clinical psychologists also play a role in assisting communities in dealing with various psychological challenges arising from rapid technological change.

For Dastin, the competition provided valuable experience in communicating scientific information through visual media and motivated him to continue developing his academic skills.

“Creating a poster that is informative, accurate, engaging, and easy to understand was a new experience for me. I see this achievement as motivation to continue creating,” he said.

The event, chaired by Dr. Tri Kurniati Ambarini, M.Psi., Psikolog, also served as a platform for exchanging knowledge on developments in clinical psychology in Indonesia.

Dastin’s achievement demonstrates that students can contribute not only through academic accomplishments but also through their ability to communicate scientific knowledge. These skills play an important role in expanding public understanding of mental health issues amid the development of digital technology. (CJ/YS)
