All faculties at Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) held their Strategic Work Meetings (Rapat Kerja/Raker) from 7–29 May 2026 as part of the university’s efforts to formulate the 2027 work programs while evaluating performance achievements from the previous year.

The meetings involved faculties across Untar, including the Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Art and Design, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Architecture, Planning, and Real Estate, as well as the Graduate School.

Untar Rector Prof. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M. emphasized the importance of developing work programs that are aligned with the university’s vision and mission. He stated that every program should directly reflect Untar’s strategic direction while making meaningful contributions to the institution’s development.

“I wish you a productive strategic work meeting. May the outcomes bring meaningful benefits and progress, while enhancing the reputation of the Faculty of Economics and Business, including both the Management and Accounting Study Programs,” the Rector said in his opening remarks.

During the Strategic Work Meeting of the Faculty of Art and Design, the Rector also stressed that the planning process should begin with a comprehensive evaluation of the previous year’s programs.

“We need to assess which programs have been successfully implemented, which have yet to be carried out, and which initiatives should be continued and further developed in the future,” he added.

The outcomes of the university-level Strategic Work Meeting also serve as the primary reference for preparing work programs at the faculty and study program levels. This approach ensures continuity and alignment between university-wide policies and their implementation across academic units.

Through these strategic meetings, each faculty is expected to develop work programs that are more adaptive, strategic, and closely aligned with Untar’s vision and mission. As such, the meetings represent not only an annual administrative agenda but also an important opportunity to strengthen institutional synergy, improve organizational performance, and enhance Untar’s competitiveness at both the national and international levels.
