The Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) of Untar held its annual yudisium ceremony to officially send off students who had completed their studies and earned the Bachelor of Psychology (S.Psi.) degree. This year’s FPsi Untar yudisium graduated 369 students from the 2020–2022 cohorts and was held on Wednesday (14/01/2026) at the Auditorium of Untar Campus I.
In her remarks, Dean of FPsi Untar, who also serves as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psikolog, encouraged graduates to uphold integrity and maintain the good name of their alma mater. She emphasized the importance of preserving the values learned throughout their studies, including the EPIC values — Entrepreneurship, Professionalism, Integrity, and Caring Community — which represent the character of Untar’s Faculty of Psychology.
Sri Tiatri also expressed appreciation for the graduates’ perseverance in completing their education. She reminded them not to forget the long journey they had undergone. “The graduates have worked hard to earn this degree. Do not forget to appreciate yourselves for the achievements you have accomplished and for all the challenges you have overcome,” she stated.
On the same occasion, FPsi Untar alumna and recruitment consultant Monica Gunawan, S.Psi., M.Psi., also shared insights with the new graduates. She highlighted the importance of giving one’s best in the workplace while remaining authentic. “Work by giving your best, while still staying true to yourself,” she said. She further emphasized that idealism remains important, but should be balanced with the ability to adapt to various backgrounds and situations in the professional world.
The yudisium also featured a message from one of the FPsi Untar graduates, who expressed gratitude for the academic experiences gained during the study period. “I may not be able to choose where I will be placed, but I can choose how I go through it. During my studies at the Faculty of Psychology Untar, I felt tremendous support that made us feel prepared to enter the workforce. The facilities and guidance provided have been truly meaningful for us,” the graduate shared.
This year’s yudisium was complemented by an appreciation session in which academic supervisors presented gifts to their students as recognition for their dedication and hard work throughout the academic process. In addition to the graduates, the event was attended by members of the FPsi Untar academic community, including lecturers, staff, and employees.
The participants officially earned the Bachelor of Psychology degree after completing all academic examinations and assignments. The yudisium marked the end of their academic journey and the beginning of their professional careers, equipped with the values, competencies, and responsibilities gained throughout their studies.
