Untar hosted the Meet and Greet event for the film Kuncen, organized by Hers Production on Wednesday (22/10/2025) at the Auditorium of Building M, Campus I Untar. The event attracted students from various faculties across Untar, who enthusiastically attended to hear firsthand stories and experiences from professionals in Indonesia’s creative industry. The event was part of the Goes to Campus series, which aims to introduce the film Kuncen while providing inspiration and practical insights into Indonesia’s film industry.

Among those present were the film’s lead actors, Davina Karamoy, Cinta Brian, and Mikha Hernan, as well as young producer Rahul Mulani, who shared their perspectives on filmmaking and the creative processes behind the scenes.

During the discussion session, Rahul Mulani, a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor’s degree in Film, Cinema, and Video Studies, spoke about his journey in building a career within the international film industry.

“Being a director or producer requires intuition. There are aspects of the job that cannot be measured by numbers. A producer must be a problem solver, so continue to develop that skill and keep creating with creativity,” Rahul told the audience that filled the auditorium.

He also emphasized the importance of perseverance, collaboration, and adaptability in navigating the rapidly evolving creative landscape. His message resonated strongly with students, particularly those from Untar’s Faculty of Communication and Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD).

The event featured a warm and interactive atmosphere, highlighted by a question-and-answer session in which students engaged directly with the cast members. The speakers shared stories from behind the production of Kuncen, covering topics ranging from scriptwriting and challenges during filming to strategies for promoting the movie.

Through events such as this, Untar once again reaffirmed its commitment as an educational institution that not only focuses on academic excellence but also actively provides opportunities for students to broaden their understanding of the creative industry, expand professional networks, and develop awareness of evolving popular culture in Indonesia.
