Arbitration is a dispute resolution process conducted outside the court system through a decision made by an arbitrator appointed by the parties involved. The process is known for being efficient, confidential, and legally binding, making it a preferred method for resolving business and commercial disputes. Institutions such as the Jakarta International Arbitration Center (JIAC) serve as official platforms for professional and independent dispute resolution.
