Research Week Highlights Untar’s Academic Excellence with More Than 2,000 Published Works

Research Week is held annually as part of Untar’s commitment to advancing research and community service. This year’s event took place on Tuesday (21/10/2025) at the Auditorium of Campus I Untar.

The event was attended by Untar lecturers and academic staff who have contributed to the publication of scientific works across various disciplines.

Untar Rector, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., expressed his appreciation to the university’s lecturers and educators for their contributions and dedication to scientific publications, which have helped strengthen the university’s reputation.

“Untar’s SINTA ranking has now reached 11th place nationally and ranks first among private universities in Indonesia,” said the Rector.

As an annual agenda, Research Week serves as one of the university’s key pillars in academic development. The data generated through this program are objective and accountable, and the university hopes that these achievements can be maintained and further improved in the years to come.

During the event, Untar also presented awards in various categories to lecturers and educators in recognition of their dedication and academic accomplishments.

Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H., expressed his hope that these achievements would continue to grow, enabling Untar to become a leading university that creates a positive impact on society.

Meanwhile, Chair of the Research Week 2025 Evaluation Team, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dali Santun Naga, MMSI, presented a report on the implementation of this year’s program.

“A total of 2,814 works were registered. Of these, 2,700 successfully passed the selection process and were grouped into six award categories,” he explained.

In addition, Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Untar, Dr. Hetty Karunia Tunjungsari, S.E., M.Si., emphasized that lecturers’ responsibilities do not end with publication achievements. They are expected to continue conducting research and community service as part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. (VC/YS)
