Untar Strengthens Internationalization Through Workshop on Development of International Class Guidelines

Untar through the Institute for Learning and Academic Innovation held a Workshop on the Development of International Class Guidelines at Graha Swara Room, Building M, Campus I Untar on Tuesday (30/9/2025). The event was attended by the Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., university leaders, heads of institutes and offices, as well as Heads of Study Programs from various faculties within Untar.

The workshop was conducted as a strategic step by Untar to strengthen its internationalization efforts, particularly through the establishment of international classes. Internationalization is one of Untar’s commitments to enhance its global presence, while also providing a more competitive learning environment for students.

In his remarks, the Rector of Untar emphasized the importance of continuous communication and coordination between faculties and university leadership.

“If you encounter any issues, please report them to higher-level leadership so that they can be assisted, conveyed, and discussed further. This is so that we can create a better learning environment and continue developing Untar toward a better direction, namely by establishing international classes at Untar in the future,” said Prof. Amad.

The Head of the Institute for Learning and Academic Innovation of Untar, Dr. Ir. Steven Darmawan, S.T., M.T., explained that the development of international class guidelines is a concrete step in Untar’s internationalization agenda.

“The workshop on the development of international class guidelines is an initiative taken by Untar’s leadership as part of the university’s internationalization efforts, as previously envisioned. It is expected that through this initiative, we can attract international students to study at Untar and further develop Untar in a better direction,” said Dr. Steven.

The discussion session took place in an interactive atmosphere, marked by active participation from attendees who shared insights, questions, and ideas related to the development of international classes. This engagement reflects the collective commitment of Untar’s academic community to continuously enhance educational quality.

Through this workshop, Untar reaffirmed its commitment to continuous innovation in its learning system and to strengthening its position as a globally competitive and excellent university.
