Untar has established a partnership with Guangxi Transport Technician College (GTTC), China. The agreement was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) by Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro and GTTC President Lai Guoqiu at the Untar campus on Thursday (11/9/2025).
The signing ceremony was witnessed by leaders of Untar, Yayasan Tarumanagara, Tarumanagara Xinya College, as well as representatives from GTTC and the government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The collaboration opens opportunities for student exchanges, internship programs, international seminars, faculty collaboration, and joint curriculum development. Untar students will have the opportunity to undertake internships in Guangxi, while GTTC students may continue their studies at Untar to earn academic degrees.
“This collaboration is more than a formality; it is a concrete step toward delivering benefits for students, lecturers, and the wider community. We believe that international cooperation is key to nurturing a competitive and globally minded younger generation,” he said.
In addition to supporting academic activities, the partnership is also aimed at strengthening joint research capacity and international publications. Through this collaboration, both institutions will be able to share experience and resources in advancing the quality of higher education.
Lai Guoqiu emphasized the importance of building long-term synergy with Untar. According to him, the partnership serves as a gateway to exploring more extensive collaborative programs in the future.
This initiative is expected to further strengthen Untar’s position as a globally oriented university committed to producing outstanding graduates with international competitiveness.
