Assessors from the Independent Accreditation Institute (LAM) Infokom conducted an on-site assessment of the Bachelor of Informatics Engineering (TI) program at the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) Untar on Tuesday (3/3/2025). The two-day assessment was part of the program’s reaccreditation process to verify data and ensure the quality and learning system of the program.
The Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., accompanied by the Vice Rector of Untar, Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psychologist, welcomed LAM Infokom assessors, Prof. Dr. Ir. Eko Sediyono, M.Kom. from Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana and Dr. Deny Jollyta, M.Kom. from Institut Bisnis dan Teknologi Pelita Indonesia. Also present at the reception were the Dean of FTI Untar, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dyah Erny Herwindiati, M.Si., and the Head of the Information Technology Study Program at Untar, Viny Christanti Mawardi, S.Kom., M.Kom.
In the meeting, the Rector of Untar expressed his hope that the assessment would proceed smoothly and yield the best possible outcome.
“Of course, we are pleased that this assessment can be carried out, and as the leadership of Untar, we hope that this assessment process will run smoothly and produce results in line with our plans. Once again, I would like to thank Prof. Eko and Dr. Deny for kindly attending here,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FTI Untar, Prof. Dyah, emphasized the commitment to improving the quality of education, given that the number of active students has reached 731. She stressed the importance of accreditation as a form of responsibility to the students’ parents and stakeholders.
Through this assessment, Untar reaffirms its commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of education, particularly in the Information Technology Study Program. As an institution that continues to grow, Untar strives to present a learning system that not only meets accreditation standards but also remains increasingly relevant to technological advancements and industry needs. With full support from the leadership, faculty, and the entire academic community, Untar is optimistic about continually improving the quality of education and maintaining public trust as one of the leading universities in Indonesia.
