The Tarumanagara Architecture Student Association (IMARTA) organized Architectural Design Week (ADW) 2024, titled “Arskaara”, under the theme “Light and Architecture” at the Townhall of Indonesia Design District (IDD), Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, on Saturday (20/7/2024).
ADW 2024 is an annual architecture event organized by IMARTA and Tarumanagara Architecture Magazine (SKETSA). The event aims to introduce the works and expertise of Untar Architecture students to the wider public.
The exhibition was held from July 20 to 28, 2024, featuring student works from the first through eighth semesters. Eighth-semester students showcased 12 of the best final project works through Public Expose 8.37, alongside the launch of the 38th edition of SKETSA magazine.
This year marked the 11th edition of ADW as an architectural forum that remains committed to upholding the values of intelligence, objectivity, and meticulousness within the academic community by organizing programs that encourage critical reflection, awareness, and careful observation.
Head of the Undergraduate Architecture Study Program at Untar, Maria Veronica Gandha, S.T., M.Arch., expressed her gratitude to IDD for providing a venue for Untar Architecture to present its works to the public.
“ADW is the result of the students’ extraordinary hard work. They raised funds and worked tirelessly to bring this exhibition, seminar, and talk show to life. It is not merely an exhibition but also part of the students’ learning process in regeneration, collaboration, and teamwork,” she said.
In her remarks, ADW 2024 Chairperson Shevia Florentia Japoetro also thanked all parties who supported the event and expressed hope that ADW 2024 would provide positive benefits and new insights for all students. (DP/YS/KJ)
