The collaboration between Untar and the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region III was again carried out, marked by the holding of the Basic Skills Improvement Training Program for Instructional Techniques (PEKERTI) for lecturers in collaboration with Bina Sarana Informatika University (UBSI).
In accordance with the provisions of Higher Education, Untar as the organizer of PEKERTI added two teaching materials, namely quality assurance of higher education, as well as research and scientific publications. This is done to encourage lecturers to be able to do scientific publications so that they can improve their academic positions.
This was revealed by the Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. in the opening of the event which was held online, Thursday (17/4).
“So the participants are very lucky because there are two additional materials required by Dikti,” continued Prof. Agustinus.
Meanwhile, the Head of Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region III Jakarta Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc. was also present to officially open the event.
According to him, the two additional materials are useful for enhancing the insights and knowledge that will be obtained by the participants.
On his occasion, UBSI Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Mochamad Wahyudi, M.Kom., M.M., M.Pd., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. thanked Untar and LLDikti III for their cooperation. He hoped that in the future UBSI could follow Untar’s footsteps as one of the universities accredited with excellence.
The event was attended by 50 participants who were lecturers from Untar and UBSI, held online until April 29, 2024, and will be closed Tuesday (30/4) at the Untar Campus I Auditorium. (DN/AW/KJ)
