LPPM Untar Holds Workshop to Improve Tridarma Implementation

The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Untar held a workshop on International and National Community Service (PKM) entitled “Solution to Pass the Higher Education Grant” at Campus I Untar, Thursday (22/2).

The event was held to improve the implementation of PKM in Untar, as the implementation of the third Tridarma of Higher Education.

Chairman of LPPM Untar, Ir. Jap Tji Beng, M.M.S.I., M.Psi., Ph.D., P.E., M.ASCE. revealed that this international and national PKM workshop is the first workshop organized by LPPM Untar.

“This PKM workshop focuses on finding solutions to pass the Higher Education Grant,” he added.

Present as a guest speaker was Dr. Ir. Eko Nurmianto, M.Eng.Sc., D.E.R.T. The lecturer of Sepuluh November Institute of Technology (ITS) has passed the PKM Dikti Funding Grant 18 times, since 2010.

Eko shared his experience in designing research that passed the PKM Dikti Funding Grant. He revealed that lecturers must start with careful research planning. In addition, other things that need to be considered include partners, research trees, timelines, and so on.

In particular, Jap Tji Beng expressed his appreciation to the speakers. He hopes that this workshop can increase the interest and insight of Untar lecturers to design quality PKM that can pass the PKM Dikti Funding Grant in 2024.

Untar is a university that is active in conducting research and PKM. For six consecutive years, Untar has successfully maintained the highest position as a university with Independent Cluster for research and PKM performance. (DN/AW/KJ)
