Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with B-Universe Media at Berita Satu Office, Jakarta, Wednesday (7/2).

This cooperation is a strategic step in increasing collaboration between the world of higher education and industry.

B-Universe President Director Rio Abdurachman said that this collaboration was driven by the involvement of academic experts and experts. In addition, the synergy between higher education and the business world is considered important to ensure the relevance between the higher education curriculum and the demands of the world of work.

The Rector of Untar expressed his appreciation to B-Universe Media for this collaboration opportunity. He believes that this collaboration is an important step in the development of higher education in Indonesia, as well as supporting the achievement of the Golden Indonesia 2045.

“Untar’s potential can be utilized to support development in various fields. We are ready to provide the best for Indonesia,” he said.

He hoped that this cooperation can make a positive contribution to the development of higher education in Indonesia, as well as prepare graduates who are more ready to enter the world of work in accordance with existing demands.

Besides Untar, several other universities such as Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Unika Atma Jaya, PPM Management, Esa Unggul University, and Pertamina University are also involved in this MoU.

B-Universe is a media company that houses several media outlets, including Berita Satu. Previously, Untar has successfully cooperated with Berita Satu in various mutually supportive activities. (KJ/AW/KJ)
