Untar’s Student and Alumni Affairs Institute (Lemawa) held an online workshop & coaching clinic for Student Creativity Program (PKM) on Tuesday (6/2).
The activity was held to train students in producing high-quality PKM. PKM itself is a form of implementation of the Tridarma of Higher Education that serves as an effort to foster, accommodate, and realize students’ creative ideas and innovations.
“PKM also increases every achievement, both for students and universities,” explained Lemawa Manager Tri Sutrisno, S.Si., M.Sc. who also acted as moderator.
Present as a resource person Prof. Akhmad Fauzy, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. stated that there are different regulations regarding PKM proposals that can be made by students. Unlike the previous years, currently students must choose which group they want to submit.
Prof. Fauzy also explained the technique of writing a good and correct proposal. He emphasized that students need to pay attention to the use and size of fonts, spaces, number of pages and, library writing.
“Something that has been regulated should not be violated, something that is not regulated, may be presented, as long as it does not violate what has been regulated,” he said.
Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. who was present hoped that students could learn a lot from the speakers.
This activity was attended by PKM supervisors and hundreds of Untar students who received scholarships. (LA/AW/KJ)
