Jakarta Provincial Government and Untar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at Jakarta City Hall, Friday (2/2).
The cooperation is Untar’s contribution to the development and progress of Jakarta as a global city in the future.
Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. hopes that this cooperation agreement (PKS) can bring positive results for both parties.
He added that Untar can contribute as an educational institution that focuses on the development and construction of the city of Jakarta through research by lecturers and students.
Head of Foreign Cooperation Section, Regional Cooperation Bureau of Jakarta Provincial Secretariat, Yudi Hermawan revealed that his office is ready to facilitate Untar for cooperation in various fields. Yudi said Untar, as a higher education institution, can provide insights, ideas, and recommendations for Jakarta’s development.
Hopefully, this collaboration can provide positive benefits for the people of Jakarta.
Previously, Untar has collaborated with the Jakarta Provincial Government through the urban village and sub-district, West Jakarta Regional Government. In addition, Untar has collaborated with several local governments, such as Bali, Jambi, Kertanegara, and several other regions. (CS/AW/KJ)
