Starting the year 2024, Untar once again made a history of earning awards like in 2022 by bringing seven awards. This year, Untar brought eight awards that were announced in the 2024 Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda) of Higher Education Service Institution Region III (LLDikti III) at Universitas Pelita Harapan, Thursday (1/2).
With the theme “Higher Education Transformation Towards Global Recognition in the Implementation of Permendikbudristek 53 of 2023”, this Rakorda emphasized the commitment of LLDikti III in improving higher education standards in accordance with applicable regulations, in response to global demands and the times.
Head of LLDikti III Prof. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc. said that this event was a moment to give awards to university leaders, professors, lecturers, and students in Region III DKI Jakarta as a form of appreciation for the achievements that have been made.
“The achievement should be a momentum for all universities to continue to race and improve their quality and contribute positively to the regional government, especially DKI Jakarta,” concluded Prof. Toni.
Untar received a number of awards, including Platinum Winner for PTS with the Best Publication in 2023, Gold Winner for PTS with the Best Research Contribution in 2023, Silver Winner for PTS with the Best Academic Quality in 2023, Bronze Winner for PTS with the Best Community Service in 2023, PTS with the Best Partnership in 2023, PTS with Superior Accreditation, PTS that Has a Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence, and Untar Professor Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. who won the award as the Youngest Professor in LLDikti Region III.
According to the Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng., these awards are the real evidence of Untar’s dedication in giving positive contributions in various aspects of education, research, community service, and partnership.
In addition to the awards, the Rakorda 2024 event also became a moment for Untar by handing over the Professor Decree for two new professors in economics, Prof. Dr. Ignatius Roni Setyawan, S.E., M.Si. and Prof. Dr. Sawidji Widoatmodjo, S.E., M.M., M.B.A. In addition, on this occasion the Untar Citra Pesona Dance Student Activity Unit (UKM) also presented a modern dance performance.
Rakorda is a routine activity held by LLDikti III every year, aiming to coordinate, socialize, and equalize perceptions related to program implementation plans that will be implemented in 2024.
A total of 120 awards were presented in this activity as a form of appreciation for the achievements made by various higher education institutions in the form of universities, institutes, high schools, and polytechnics. (KJ/PA/AW)
