Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. welcomed the visit of Director of Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Regional Office Jakarta, Dr. Guido Schnieders, Wednesday (31/1) at Untar Campus I.

DAAD is an organization that supports academic cooperation between Indonesia and Germany. DAAD provides scholarships, supports university cooperation, and provides information about research in Germany.

The Rector said Untar is ready to collaborate with DAAD in various fields, including student and lecturer exchange, joint research, and international conferences.

Guido said collaboration can produce good things, especially for students. He recommended Untar students to join international programs, such as student exchange.

According to him, the experience can improve one’s personality, increase job opportunities, and is a fun experience.

In particular, Guido expressed his appreciation to Untar for receiving him well, and for being open to working together. He hoped that the discussion could continue into a real program in a short time.
