This year, Untar became one of the universities trusted by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology to organize the Basic Skills Enhancement Instructional Techniques (PEKERTI) and Applied Approach (AA) training for lecturers.
For this achievement, Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. said that Untar is committed to improve the quality of learning. This was conveyed in the opening of Pekerti 2024 which was held online, Monday (29/1).
The training activity organized in collaboration with Bina Sarana Informatika University (UBSI) aims to improve the skills of lecturers. The event is held for seven days online until February 6, 2024, and will be closed on Wednesday (7/2) at the Auditorium of Campus I Untar.
Opening the event, Head of Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region III Jakarta Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc. congratulated and appreciated Untar for its contribution in improving the quality of higher education teaching staff through the implementation of PEKERTI 2024.
According to him, this activity must continue to be organized to accelerate the improvement of higher education quality.
“Lecturers are professionals, so increasing competence through this training is needed so that we can all carry out our duties well,” Toni continued.
Meanwhile, UBSI Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Mochamad Wahyudi, M.Kom., M.M., M.Pd., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. hopes that the cooperation can continue so that the ability and competence of lecturers increase, in order to create quality graduates.
PEKERTI 2024 was attended by 43 participants who were lecturers from Untar and UBSI. (DN/AW/KJ)
