Untar Enhances International Collaboration in Vietnam

Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. visited Vietnam in order to increase international collaboration. The visit was conducted for four days, starting on Tuesday (23/1) and ending on Friday (26/1).

During the visit, the Rector had a series of meetings with various related parties in Vietnam, including higher education institutions and industries.

The higher education institutions visited included Foreign Trade University (FTU) and FPT University. In this meeting, both parties agreed to explore cooperation in the field of research and joint conferences.

As an implementation of the tagline “Untar for Indonesia, Untar for the World”, this is expected to broaden the horizons and academic networks for Untar students and lecturers with universities in Vietnam.

In addition, both parties also agreed to collaborate in international community service (PKM) and student exchange.

The visit was also welcomed by Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam Denny Abdi, S.E., M.Si. He emphasized that the Indonesian Embassy fully supports Untar’s efforts in expanding its international cooperation network, especially in friendly countries such as Vietnam.

In addition to visiting higher education institutions, the Rector also visited Ciputra Hanoi International. A real estate developer from Indonesia. This visit aims to explore the potential for cooperation in the development of educational and research programs relevant to the real estate industry.

The Rector expressed his commitment to continue strengthening international cooperation through the implementation of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) that has been signed with various institutions in Vietnam.

“We believe that this collaboration will make a positive contribution to the advancement of education and research, not only for Untar and its international partners, but also for Indonesia and the world,” said the Rector.

The Rector added that this visit is an important step in Untar’s efforts to achieve internationalization. In addition, he hopes that new opportunities for students and lecturers can be created to develop understanding and skills at the global level.

During the visit, the Rector was welcomed by FTU Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dao Ngoc Tien, Deputy Director of Office of International Affairs FTU Dao Thi Thu Ha, M.Ed., Indonesian Embassy Official Jane Runkat, Director of Ciputra Hanoi International David Arnsdorff, and Project Director of Ciputra Hanoi International Thong Suprobo Antono.
