Untar received a visit from the Head of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Jakarta Drs. Ahmad Bahri and his delegation on Tuesday (9/1) at Campus I Untar. The visit was conducted in order to discuss further cooperation between RRI and Untar.
Ahmad said that the cooperation between Untar and RRI has been well established. He hoped that the cooperation could be improved to benefit both institutions.
“Untar can synchronize its programs with RRI’s agenda, including the agenda to bring in speakers from Untar who are experts in various fields, as well as lecturers and Student Activity Units (UKM) at Untar,” said Ahmad.
Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. welcomed Ahmad’s invitation. He emphasized the importance of synergy between Untar and RRI in building programs that have a wide impact.
According to the Rector, Untar can contribute through thousands of students and hundreds of lecturers. He hopes Untar and RRI can build synergy in developing various fields, both in terms of media and entrepreneurship in Southeast Asia.
“This is an important part for the campus to be able to contribute in various activities, especially the world of education, MSME development, and other activities that can encourage people to think positively and produce work for the nation and state,” said the Rector.
Untar and RRI have collaborated in various programs. One of them is the RRI Goes to Campus program that gives appreciation to outstanding students. In addition, RRI is also one of the active media partners in coverage, media gathering, and other activities held by Untar.
