Untar Library received A (Excellent) Accreditation by the National Library (Perpusnas) RI. This achievement was announced in Untar Library Accreditation, Wednesday (23/11) at Campus 1 Untar.
“Untar Library has a temporary score of 95.17. This is quite proud because category A with a score above 95 becomes a national reference, not only at the regional level,” said Director of Standardization and Accreditation of National Library RI, Drs. Supriyanto, M.Si.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. said that this accreditation result can be utilized by Untar Library to continue to improve services, in increasing the reading interest of the academic community.
“It is the responsibility and priority of the library to be able to provide comfort in increasing interest in reading books,” said the Rector.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Resource Development of National Library of Indonesia Dr. Adin Bondar, S.Sos., M.Si. in his speech said that the development of library services, especially in universities, needs to be done continuously. Adin hopes that Untar Library can be a facilitator for the community to gain knowledge.
Head of the National Library Accreditation Working Group RI Renda Khris Ardhi Artha, S.Sos., M.Si. and Director of Standardization and Accreditation of National Library RI Drs. Supriyanto, M.Si. became assessors in the accreditation. Both of them appreciated the innovation, creativity, service, place, and appearance of Untar Library.
“Untar Library is worthy to be used as a reference for the development of other university libraries,” said Supriyanto.
Also attending the accreditation were Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. Rasji, S.H., M.H., Head of Untar Library Dr. Harsiti, M.Si. and staff of Untar Library, as well as university and faculty leaders. (ZR/AW)
