Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. welcomed the delegation of Universiti Teknologi MARA Shah Alam (UiTM) Malaysia on Tuesday (21/11) at Campus 1 Untar.
The visit was conducted in order to establish cooperation with Untar, especially with the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD).
Rector of Untar said that Untar is open to cooperate in various fields. In the context of FSRD, the cooperation can be in the form of making products or movies for various events.
“Professors and doctors from Untar and UiTM can also exchange students and lecturers for lectures, as well as conduct a research as a form of cooperation,” added the Rector.
Meanwhile, Dean (Academic & International) of UiTM Prof. Madya Ts. Dr. Rusmadiah Anwar revealed that UiTM is ready to build a creative field with Untar. One of the implementations is a long-term project concept that can benefit both universities.
“Untar can be the largest superior entrepreneurial university in Southeast Asia, and on Untar’s 65th anniversary, it is expected to be even more advanced,” said Director of UiTM Entrepreneurship Development Center Ts. Dr. Rohana Zur.
Also attending the visit was UiTM Naib Canselor Prof. Dr. Hjh. Shahanum Md. Shah, Dean of Industry, Communities and Alumni Network (ICAN) Prof. Madya Ts. Dr. Wan Aida Wan Yahaya, Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. Rasji, S.H., M.H., Dean of FSRD Dr. Kurnia Setiawan, S.Sn., M.Hum., heads of institutions, and heads of offices. (DP/AW)
