A delegation from Untar visited Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday (16/11). The cooperation is the foundation for both institutions to jointly support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. stated that this collaboration is a form of implementation of “Untar for Indonesia, Untar for the World”. Untar continues to actively build cooperation with various institutions, both at home and abroad.
Interestingly, Untar and UNS both received the 4-Star QS Rating award at the QS Summit in Kuala Lumpur in early November.
The Rector hopes that the cooperation that has been established between Untar and UNS can improve the performance and reputation of both institutions. In addition, this cooperation is also expected to produce excellent human resources for Indonesia and the world.
In the other side, the Rector of UNS Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. said that he strongly supports this cooperation. UNS is ready to provide support that is beneficial for the development of each institution.
This MoU covers various fields, including student exchange, joint research and community service (PKM), conferences, and other activities. Both universities are committed to contributing to each other in achieving various SDGs targets.
