New Doctors Expected to Help Fulfill the Needs of Health Workers in Indonesia

The 139th New Doctor Inauguration as well as the 82nd Untar Graduation Ceremony was held at the J Building Auditorium, Campus I Untar, Wednesday (25/10).

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. dr. Noer Saelan Tadjudin, Sp.KJ said that there were 14 new doctors who were inaugurated. This graduation added the number of graduates of FK Untar to 4,889 doctors.

Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. said that currently Indonesia needs many doctors, especially in untouched areas. Rector hopes that the newly appointed doctors can help fulfill the needs of health workers in Indonesia.

“Many FK Untar alumni have produced various achievements and contributed in various regions,” added the Rector.

Rector also revealed that Untar is open to collaborating with various local governments in the field of health development.

Secretary of Tarumanagara Foundation Vedrych J. Kusnanto, S.Kom., M.M. in his speech hoped that the doctors who have been inaugurated can appreciate the services of the closest people and themselves for this achievement.

Meanwhile, dr. Annisa Ananda Nuryasin, as a representative of the new doctors, hopes that all graduates can benefit the community and make the alma mater proud.

“I am sure all of you are extraordinary people and will benefit the society one day,” said dr. Annisa.

Also attended representative of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) West Jakarta dr. Kevin Gunawan and the Chairperson of the Tarumanagara Medical Alumni Family Association Dr. dr. Diah Rini Handjari, Sp.PA, Sub.Sp.D.H.B. (ER/AW)
