KG Radio Network Vice Director Viliny Lesmana, S.Sos., M.B.A. and Head Marcomm Polytron Vina Julita Wijaya were present as speakers in the Sonora X Polytron Goes to Campus event, Tuesday (12/9) at Campus 1 Untar.

The event themed “Brand Existence in Digital Era” was a collaboration between Untar and Sonora which became the implementation of the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) Program at Untar.

Viliny conveyed the tips of Radio Sonora, which is in the KG Radio Network, to survive since 1972. According to her, a brand must be able to build trust through meaningful experiences and emotional connections with audiences.

“The key is trust, so if we fail to build audience trust, we will fail to market our products,” she said.

The event, which was attended by lecturers and students, also heard from Polytron Marcomm Head Vina Julita Wijaya. She said that it is necessary to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in addition to pursuing various strategies to maintain brand existence in this digital era.

“Human resources are also important, there are three skills that you must develop in today’s digital era, namely, adaptability, collaborative skills, and critical thinking skills,” she said.

Present at the event was the Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. who in his speech asked students to take advantage of this opportunity to gain as much knowledge as possible, especially for Fikom Untar students.

“The presence of these two practitioners in the field of communication is expected to provide new knowledge to Fikom Untar students who attend,” he said when opening the event.
