Untar and INTI International University Malaysia held International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) 2023 for the second time. This program, that held on 4-23 September, participated with 60 students of both campus.
Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. said that this program is aimed to provide students the opportunity to learn new knowledge of both countries, explore both campuses, broaden networking, and improve collaboration and tolerance to cultural differences.
“I believe everyone that participates in this program will be a leader, excels in various fields as a part of the future golden generation,” Rector said.
Head of Programme of INTI International University Joana Jaya appreciates Untar that has accepted INTI students at Untar campus.
“Thank you Untar for welcoming us with warmth. I hope that apart from this activity, Untar’s collaboration with INTI can continue in various other activities,” continued Joana.
In addition to students from INTI, there are four students from Heilbronn University Germany who participated in this program. Currently, they are studying at the Faculty of Economics and Business for one semester.
For participants, ISEP provides several benefits. This was expressed by one of the participants, Anastasia Bernessa. The Psychology student of Untar considers ISEP as an opportunity to better understand the culture of other countries, as well as to expand and increase networking.
Meanwhile, student of Heilbronn University Lutz Poth admits that he is happy to meet students of another country. According to him, this program is an opportunity to gather and share cultural knowledge.
This ISEP 2023 is the sequel to similar program held on March 2023. This program was held in Jakarta on 4-9 September, and in Malaysian on upcoming 18-23 September. (DW/YS/AW)
