Untar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with West Kutai Regency Government in a meeting at Untar Campus I, Tuesday (28/8).

Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. stated that Untar is ready to provide educational facilities and level of human resources quality for West Kutai regency.

The Rector hopes that collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service can continue to develop into the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) program and the field of entrepreneurship which is widely carried out at Untar.

On the same occasion, the Head of Education and Culture Office of West Kutai Regency RL Bandarsyah, S.E., M.Si., CCCMs, CPNLP representing West Kutai Regent FX Yapan, S.H., M.H. said that the MoU is part of the Tridarma of Higher Education which includes responsibility for sustainable building.

The Regent of Kutai hopes that the collaboration can make a real contribution to both parties, especially in the field of education.

The form of collaboration is shown by the West Kutai Regency Government by facilitating three students with scholarships to continue their education at the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Untar.

Also attending the event were Head of Personnel Development of West Kutai Regency Fachrujiansyah Bachsan, S.Pd., Pj. Head of Junior High School Windu Pratama, Planning Officer, Yosepha Yolanda, S.Sos., M.Si., Planning & Program Administrators, and staff. (VW/AW)
