Faculty of Engineering (FT) Untar held a student graduation ceremony in the Auditorium of Main Building, Campus 1 Untar, Saturday (12/8). The event was held with the aim of celebrating the togetherness and happiness of graduating students with their parents.

Dean of Faculty of Engineering Harto Tanujaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. expected the graduates to be wise in using knowledge and not to misuse the knowledge that has been obtained during their education at Untar.

He also reminded the graduates to remain humble and have the desire to always learn.

In his speech, Rector reminded the graduates to pay attention to environmental aspects when designing a building or city.

“I hope that wherever the graduates work, they will not focus on design aesthetics and money, but still pay attention to the environment, because it is the result of Untar’s values, namely Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship,” said the Rector.

The Rector especially thanked all parents of students who have entrusted their children to study at Untar.

A total of 104 graduates of Architecture Undergraduate Program, one graduate of Architecture Master Program, 21 graduates of Urban and Regional Planning Undergraduate Program, and eight graduates of Urban and Regional Planning Master Program were released in this event.

The event was also enlivened with various entertainment performances by graduates, STUPA 8.35 participants, and Untar Architecture Lecturer Choir (PADOSARS). (YI/AW)
