Untar welcomed Grogol Petamburan (Gropet) Sub-District Head Agus Sulaeman, M.Si. at Untar Campus 1, Wednesday (9/8). The visit was conducted in order to strengthen the relationship and establish synergy and collaboration between the Local Government of Grogol Petamburan and Untar.
Rector Prof. Dr. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. said that Untar is ready to collaborate to support programs that focus on improving the quality of life of the community.
He revealed that collaboration can be done in various fields, such as handling stunting and sanitation problems with Untar’s Faculty of Medicine (FK), as well as developing libraries for the community.
“This also shows Untar’s commitment in playing an active role in community development and positive contribution to the surrounding area,” said the Rector.
Meanwhile, Agus Sulaeman hopes that the strong synergy between educational institutions and local government can bring innovative solutions that can have a positive impact, especially for Gropet residents.
“We hope that significant positive changes will be realized in terms of community welfare and quality of life improvement,” Agus Sulaeman concluded.
Also attending the event were Vice Rector of Untar Dr. Rasji, S.H., M.H., Deputy Head of Grogol Petamburan Sub-district Raditian Ramajaya, S.S.T.P., M.A.P., Secretary of Grogol Petamburan Sub-district Novi Indria Sari, S.T., M.Si., and all Lurah in Grogol Petamburan Sub-district. (SC/AW)
