Faculty of Medicine (FK) Untar held the 138th New Doctor Inauguration, Wednesday (9/8) at the Auditorium Campus 1 Untar.
Through the academic report delivered by the Dean of FK Untar Dr. dr. Noer Saelan Tadjudin, Sp.KJ, as many as 126 new doctors were inaugurated, consisting of 90 women and 36 men. Among them, there were 40 students who successfully graduated with honors and very satisfying as many as 50 students.
Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E., hoped that all new doctors are ready to go directly to help the community.
In addition, the Rector also advised the new doctors to always prioritize the values of Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship (IPE), and be virtuous as what has been taught by Untar in helping the community, especially those in areas far from doctors.
Secretary of Tarumanagara Foundation Vedrych J. Kusnanto, S.Kom., M.M., representing the Chairman of Tarumanagara Foundation Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunardi, S.H., M.H., expressed his appreciation for the new doctors’ hard work during their studies.
“It is hoped that in the future you will become doctors who are dedicated and have high integrity and always make the Untar alma mater proud and of course can help the surrounding community,” said Vedrych.
Vice Regent of Kebumen Hj. Ristawati Purwaningsih, S.S.T., M.M. who attended as the parents of the students, thanked all academicians of Untar for guiding their children to become real doctors.
Ristawati hoped that all new doctors can take part in helping the problems that are being experienced by the people of Indonesia.
Representing the new doctors, dr. Fillipo David Tamara expressed his pride for his colleagues who were successfully inaugurated. Dr. Filipo and his friends are committed to serving the community with honesty and humility.
“Thank you to all FK lecturers and of course to our beloved parents for being willing to support us until we are at this point now,” Filipo continued.
Also attended Chairperson of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) Dr. dr. Cecilia R. Padang, Ph.D., FACR, Chairperson of Tarumanagara Medical Alumni Family Association Dr. dr. Diah Rini Handjari, Sp.PA(K), and Tarumanagara Foundation Board. (DW/AW)
