Engineering graduates with their various knowledge play an important role in the development of society in Indonesia.
This was conveyed by the Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. when opening the Yudisium of the Faculty of Engineering (FT) Untar even semester 2022/2023, Tuesday (8/8) at Campus 1 Untar.
The Rector hoped that the graduates can use the knowledge that has been obtained to be a reinforcement for their future profession.
“Hopefully all the achievements, competencies, and qualifications obtained can be useful in personal and career development,” he said.
The Rector also advised to always produce innovation, creativity, and improve various achievements in order to contribute actively and positively to life in society.
One of the best graduates, Kevin Adrian, had the opportunity to express his appreciation to the lecturers and staff who had helped him during his studies at the Faculty of Engineering.
“Hopefully in the future, Untar can continue to produce graduates who are able to compete in the professional world,” he said.
This time, there were five students who held the title of best academic and non-academic graduates.
The best academic graduate of Mechanical Engineering Study Program is Alifya Putri Askolani with a GPA of 3.93 and Mikael Sean Hendito as the best non-academic graduate of Mechanical Engineering Study Program. The best academic and non-academic graduate of Electrical Engineering Study Program is Earleen with a GPA of 3.87.
Meanwhile, the best academic graduate of Industrial Engineering Study Program is Kevin Adrian with GPA 3.86 and Andrew Yosua as the best non-academic graduate of Industrial Engineering Study Program. (DN/AW)
