Untar received a visit from German Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, ASEAN, and Timor Leste Ina Lepel in the Auditorium of Untar Campus I, Monday (10/7).

During the visit, the Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. said that Untar as an entrepreneurship-based university has conducted various international collaborations, especially with countries in Europe and Asia.

Rector hopes that Untar and Germany can find more potential for international cooperation, especially in the field of higher education.

He added that Untar has conducted student exchange activities with universities in Germany, such as with Heilbronn University which was just held in February.

Ina welcomed the Rector’s invitation and supported the collaboration in order not only to advance educational institutions, but also to advance both countries and their people.

Also attended Head of Research, Science, and Technology Division of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Jakarta Annisa Fitria, deans, heads of institutions, heads of offices, and student representatives from each faculty. (DN/AW)
