Yayasan Pendidikan Kesehatan Carolus (YPKC) invited the Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. to give a seminar at Sint Carolus STIK Building, Monday (26/6).

Themed “Responding to the Challenges of Higher Education in the Era of Competition”, the Rector of Untar conveyed that the challenges faced by a university rely on adjustments to social conditions and times.

He said that knowing the strengths and weaknesses is the first step in designing a strategy for the development of higher education in the era of competition.

The Rector advised that STIK Sint Carolus can continue to improve the quality of alumni, the number of research by lecturers and students, and partners with universities internationally and internationally.

In addition, future competencies, academic boundaries, and strategic arrangements need to be understood by all Sint Carolus STIK lecturers to achieve excellent university accreditation.

“Special policies are needed that maintain the smooth operation and development of a college,” said the Rector. (VW/AW)
