The Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) held Entrepreneur Week 2023 at Hublife Jakarta on Friday (16/6) and closed on Sunday (18/6).

This event is an implementation of the Simulation and Business Module course that facilitates students to showcase their work to the wider community.

Dean of FEB Dr. Sawidji Widoatmodjo, S.E., M.M., M.B.A. when opening the event stated that Entrepreneur Week is an activity so that students can implement the knowledge gained directly in the field.

“It is hoped that through this Entrepreneur Week activity, FEB Untar students can be brave enough to showcase their business to the wider community. In addition, we can also show that Untar students will be able to compete in the business world,” said Sawidji.

Head of Management Undergraduate Program Frangky Selamat, S.E., M.M. hoped that this event would not only be a college assignment, but also a forerunner of real business.

Frangky explained that students can develop their work by taking the MBKM entrepreneurship program in the next semester under the guidance of experienced entrepreneurs.

One of the Entrepreneur Week 2023 participants, Jonathan, admitted that he and other students were supported by lecturers and study programs in developing business ideas and opportunities.

“Through this activity, my friends and I can apply the knowledge gained, for example how to design business ideas, recognize opportunities, and of course be able to compete in the real business world later,” Jonathan explained.

The opening ceremony was attended by the dean of FEB and Tarumanagara Foundation representative Joshua Yohanes, S.H., M.Kn. (DW/AW)
