Master of Architecture Untar held the 29th Online Seminar Series with the theme “Heritage & Interior” online on Wednesday (31/5).
The first session was moderated by Untar Architecture and Planning Lecturer Ir. Rudy Surya, M.M., M.Ars. and presented by University of Indonesia Architecture Lecturer Prof. Paramita Atmodiwirjo, discussing the topic of Adaptive Interior: Transformation of Building Layers.
Prof. Paramita argued that restoring a building is not just about maintaining, repairing, or rebuilding it but giving it a better meaning.
The seminar then continued with a discussion on the topic of Old-New Integration in the Interior of Heritage Buildings by Master of Architecture lecturer Dr. Ir. Rudy Trisno, M.T., IAI, HDII. He argued that the design of interior space can express the spatial space inside, so that it can express the shape of the outer building, especially in conservation buildings.
Secretary of IAI Jakarta Ar. Teguh Aryanto, IAI in his speech, expressed his appreciation to Untar for the trust as a colleague and partner in organizing this online seminar series.
“This Online Seminar Series is also very useful, especially for IAI members in updating their knowledge and insight,” said Teguh. (YI/AW)
