The Faculty of Communication Science (Fikom) Untar held 2023 Annual Work Meeting (Raker) at Hotel Swiss Belinn Bogor, Friday (19/5). This year’s theme is “Fikom Contribution in Supporting Untar for World Class University”.

Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU, AE when attending the Raker asked all Fikom Untar lecturers to prepare human resources having various excellent skills.

“Lecturers must be able to guide and project skill qualification needed by students based on their study program, then start from there,” said Rector.

Moreover, Rector said that synergy between lecturers and students is needed in order to create leading human resources. Synergy between lecturers and students, especially in Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) programs, is expected to produce internationally reputed works that support Untar’s internationalization.

Rector stated, Fikom Untar’s leading human resources must be able to build international networking and collaboration in order to have international standard education.

The Annual Work Meeting was held until 20 May, and serves as a forum for all faculty members to discuss the following year’s strategic plan, in line with university’s plan. Furthermore, performance evaluation was also conducted in the Annual Work Meeting. (DN/YS/AW)
