Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) visited Untar campus on Friday (12/5). The visit was related to international collaboration discussion followed by the signing of memorandum of understanding (MoU).
Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. said that Untar is ready to collaborate in various activities with KIT as one of the efforts towards World Class University.
Furthermore, the activities that can be done are inviting KIT to participate in international conferences, joint international research, and student and lecturer exchange programs.
Director of International Program Center KIT Mamoru Mukai said that KIT is very enthusiastic to collaborate with Untar. In addition, there are a number of Untar students who actively study Japanese culture through extracurricular activities that can add opportunities for joint student activities.
In addition to the discussion and MoU signing, the KIT delegation visited various faculties and facilities at Untar. Also attending the event were heads of institutions, heads of offices, and deans. (EL/YS/AW)
