Untar IISMA Students to Adapt in Destination Countries

Untar organized a workshop for nine Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2023 Awardees at Untar Campus I, Thursday (27/4).

This workshop is aimed to prepare IISMA 2023 students that will embark to respective countries in the following semester.

Vice Rector I of Untar Dr. Rasji, S.H., M.H. in his opening speech believes IISMA 2023 awardees will be able to adapt and study well in their respective countries.

Vice Rector expects students to study different fields, in order to become multitalented students.

In line with Vice Rector, Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., AE. reminds students to always preserve Untar’s reputation wherever they are, and able to manage their time well during their studies abroad.

“Congratulations to all IISMA 2023 Awardees. I hope all of you are able to obtain beneficial knowledge for yourselves, alma mater, and Indonesia,” said Rector.

IISMA is a leading scholarship program funded by the government, managed centrally by Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Kemendikbudristek. This program funds Indonesian bachelor students, in a mobility program in leading universities abroad for one semester.

This year, nine Untar students become IISMA Awardees, which names are Sharon Marilyn (Sussex University), Caecilia Patrice Yonandi (Edinburgh University), Kharisma Putri Anugerah (Sapienza University of Rome), Esperansya Desmonda Woen (Nanyang Technological University), Samantha Elizabeth Fitzgerald (University of Waterloo), Helen Angelina (Nanyang Technological University), Ashley Eugenia Colette (Korea University), Sheillya Khonada (University of Leeds), and Annabelle Kael Tanady (Taiwan Tech).

Also attended the workshop Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. H. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., Head of Bachelor of Law Study Program Rugun Romaidah, S.H., M.H., Head of Learning Institute Dr. Ir.
