Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng and Regent of Mahakam Ulu Regency Bonifasius Belawan Geh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Mou), Friday (31/3) at Untar campus.

This signing is the extension of previous MoU and as a sign of cooperation continuity which aims to develop smart, prosper, ethical, and competitive society.

Regent of Mahakam Ulu believes this cooperation could help to realize his regency’s vision and mission in having competitive human resources.

“Personally and representing Mahakam Ulu government, we would like to express our biggest gratitude to Untar, that always helps and collaborates with us in human resources development,” said Bonafisius.

Rector of Untar welcomed this cooperation and committed to give the best support and contribution to human resources development in Mahakm Ulu Regency. Untar is ready to accept the best youths of Mahakam Ulu Regency, giving them the education and knowledge needed in accordance to demand of region and era.

“We expect this signing to be implementative. It is not easy, but I believe there will be a more operational implementation,” said Rector.

Rector promised Untar will provide access to students and lecturers in Mahakam Ulu Regency to utilize resources and facilities available at campus, including library, laboratory, and research center. (SC/YS/AW)
