UMP Wants to Collaborate with Untar in Fintech Study

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) wants to collaborate with universities in Indonesia, including Untar, to give internship opportunities for professionals and student exchange program. This university also opens cooperation opportunity, particularly in the field of financial technology (fintech).

The statement was given by Vice Chancellor UMP Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie bin Zainuddin, DIMP during the discussion with Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU, AE, Friday (15/3) at UMP campus, Pahang, Malaysia. This meeting was conducted in line with Untar Rector’s visitations to several universities in Malaysia to explore collaboration opportunities.

Rector of Untar greeted UMP’s invitation well and stated that he is ready to receive UMP students to study at Untar and vice versa.

“Untar is ready to receive UMP students in student exchange program. Other activities such as joint research is also possible in the future,” said Rector.

On the same occasion, both universities signed an MoU as a mark of official cooperation between both universities.

Untar delegates had the opportunity to visit Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology and greeted by Vice Dean of Academic Mohammad Hasnun Arif Hassan.

UMP is located in Pekan, Pahang, Malaysia. Established as a state engineering university by Malaysian government in 16 February 2002. Currently, UMP owns 46 study programs in 11 faculties and 3 study centers. (VW/YS/AW)
