This year, Untar Christmas celebration carried message of care and togetherness to the victims of Cianjur earthquake recently happened.
This message was stated in the christmas letter said by Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., AE that invited the whole Academic Community of Untar to care for others amidst the celebration of 2022 Christmas held on Thursday (15/12) at Campus I Untar.
He said, Untar has organized donation shortly after the Cianjur earthquake, and Christmas could be the moment to show that benefactors generosity still needed to give the help the victims need.
“Untar will build a school in Cianjur, since many schools were destroyed there,” he continued.
Aside of that, Untar was chosen as one of the universities that received grants from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek), The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Republic of Indonesia, realized with community engagement in Cianjur.
This event that was attended by leaders, lecturers, students, and staffs of Untar, was titled “Share Hope for Mutual Happiness” and featured student perfomances of Universitas Tarumanagara Choir (PSUT), Tarumanagara Theater Art (Sentra), and Citra Pesona (CP) student activity units.
