National Seminar Series (Serina) is an annual Untar event. This year’s hybrid Serina was themed “Building Communication Ethics and Culture in the Digital Era Based on Indonesian Local Wisdom” and held on Wednesday (14/12).

The fifth Serina presented Managing Editor Video and Digital Distribution Kompas.com Laksono Hari Wiwoho and Dean of the Faculty of Communication Science (Fikom) Untar Dr. Riris Loisa, M.Si.

Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU, AE. during the opening, stated that Serina was organized as an implementation of Untar’s consistent commitment to Higher Education Tri Dharma.

The results of researches and community engagements that were published through this seminar could be the basis for lecturers and students. Therefore, scientific culture and contribution to the society could be developed.

Head of Committee Ade Adhari, S.H., M.H. in his report stated that this year’s Serina invited eight universities to collaborate, which are UPN Veteran Jakarta, Universitas Atma Jaya, Universitas Pancasila, UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar, Universitas Tanjungpura, Universitas Trisakti, and Universitas Pancasakti Tegal.
