Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Untar achieved the first place in Management National Competition held at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, Wednesday (23/11).

The team that was mentored by Dr. Dr. Yenita managed to enter the final stage, in which they competed with other well-known universities.

The team which members are Adrian Hartanto, Bryan Raffello Yohanes, and Gilbert Imanuel Purwanto, succeeded to achieve the first place. Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember was in the second place, followed by Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta in the third place.

The competition titled “Build an Entrepreneur with Creative and Innovative In The Era Society 5.0” became an evidence of Untar’s commitment in producing creative and innovative students.

“We were trained to think critically and understand the most current business situations and conditions by implementing up-to-date strategy,” said Adrian.

The team which named VENI, VIDI, VICI has undergone several intensive preparations in facing the competition.

“We trained intensively with our mentor, Dr. Dr. Yenita, by studying various case studies that needed innovative solutions and strategic alternatives which suit the nature of the business,” added Adrian.

This victory was a result of Dr. Dr. Yenita’s role as a mentor, who motivated and trained the team to be able to compete.
