Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., AE., conducted work visit to Malaysia in order to broaden international collaboration. In the visit, Rector and his team visited three universities in the country on *-10 November 2022.
In the discussion with President of Multimedia University (MMU) Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, it was stated that there are various possibilities of collaboration, in which are student and lecturer exchange. Supported with current digital advancements, virtual learning and activities become an ease.
President MMU was amazed with collaborations conducted by Untar with various universities in Malaysia. He expected MMU to collaborate in journal publication as well as student and lecturer exchange.
Both universities discussed on joint conference and scientific research and writing as well.
Meanwhile, in the visit to INTI International University, Rector of Untar met with Pro Vice-Chancellor Academic Operations INTI International University & Colleges Lai Yin Ling, Ph.D. The visit discussed on various topics, such as INTI interest in MBKM programs of Untar.
Lai Yin Ling, Ph.D. stated that INTI looks at Untar as a university of priority in building collaborations, and hoped that Untar will do the same.
Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) Campus also became the agenda of Rector of Untar visit in Malaysia. During the visit to the campus which situated in Kuala Lumpur, Rector met with TAR UMT representative Prof. Ir. Dr. Lee Sze Wei and discussed on the preparation of a joint event, the International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Business Management (ICEBM) 2022 in Denpasar Bali on 24-25 November 2022. The relationship between both universities has been formed for some time and have conducted joint events such as international conferences and student exchange.
In the visit to Malaysia, Rector was accompanied by Head of Cooperation and International Relations Office Dr. Hugeng and Head of Public Relations Office Dra. Paula Tjatoerwidya Anggarina, M.M.
