Master of Management Untar held a webinar themed “Third Generation Curse In The Family Business” on Monday (26/9) online.

This webinar discussed problems and solutions relating to stopping third generation curse in family business, presented by lecturer of the Faculty of Economics and Business Untar, whom also the Managing Partner of Helios Capital Dr. Hadi Cahyadi, S.E., MBA, MCI as the keynote speaker.

He stated that family businesses usually will not survive past two generations. Therefore, a successor must be prepared in order to obtain value, loyalty, and interest in the business.

“To overcome the curse, one must show good parenting, harmony, and collaboration with their children and grandchildren, so they would be interested and participate in the business,” he said.

The webinar was attended by Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU, AE., and as the moderator Dr. Hetty Karunia Tunjungsari, S.E., M.Si. -DW/YS-
