Ir. Sofyan Djamil, MSi, completed his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at Universitas Sriwijaya, Masters Program in Materials Science in Universitas Indonesia and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Program in Engineering. An experienced consultant in the construction sector and a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Tarumanagara since 1998. Position as Secretary of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program for two periods and Head of the Industrial Technology Department. He is active in the professional association of the Indonesian Engineers Association (BKM-PII). In developing scientific fields, he is mobile in research composites based on natural bamboo materials and published in international and national journals. He is also agile in presenting research results at international and national seminars.
