The Student Executive Board (BEM) of Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) held the 2026 Student Activity Unit (UKM) Open House as an opportunity for students to learn about various student organizations and develop their interests and talents.

Held from 16–18 September 2026, the event took place at the corridor of Building M, Untar Campus I, as well as Buildings B and C, Untar Campus II.

The UKM Open House allowed students to explore various student activities that they can join based on their interests and potential. Participation in UKMs also provides students with opportunities to develop creativity, teamwork, leadership, and time management skills, as well as build networks as preparation for entering the professional world.

During the opening ceremony, Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., encouraged students to make use of the event to find opportunities for self-development that match their interests and potential.

“Through the UKM Open House, I hope students can participate in various activities that not only provide opportunities for self-development and innovation, but also help shape students who can make an impact both on campus and in the wider community,” he said.

The 2026 UKM Open House was also attended by Tarumanagara Foundation Board Member Dr. Hendra Wiyanto, S.E., M.E.; Head of the Student Affairs and Alumni Institute Tri Sutrisno, S.Si., M.Sc.; Untar Student President Derrick Patrick Fortino; Chair of the Untar Student Representative Council (DPM) Averina Angelrika; and Chair of the Student Court Vinsen Kho Sanjaya.
