The Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat) Untar held an educational training session for lecturers and education staff on the use of artificial intelligence through the Gemini Academy for Higher Education Batch 2 Training and Certification Program at Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) on Friday (11/09/2026) at Building M, Untar Campus I.
The program continued the Gemini Academy for Higher Education Batch 1 Training and Certification held on 31 July 2026, as well as the Gemini Academy for Students program held on 26–28 August 2026.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly Gemini for Education, was the main focus of the training. Lecturers and education staff were introduced to Gemini’s features and trained to apply them effectively in the classroom, while also developing their AI skills to support problem-solving.
The training was delivered by Software Engineer and Hacktiv8 Indonesia instructor Joshua Christian, an alumnus of the Faculty of Economics and Business Untar from the 2015 cohort.
The program is part of Untar’s efforts to support sustainable education quality among higher education educators, in line with developments in digital technology, particularly the use of AI. (CJ/YS)
