The presence of Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) Campus I in the Grogol Petamburan area has made communication with local stakeholders an essential part of implementing the university’s Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi). One of Untar’s longstanding institutional partners is Koramil 03/Grogol Petamburan, under Kodim 0503/West Jakarta.
The partnership was further strengthened through a dialogue between Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M. and Commander of Koramil 03/Grogol Petamburan Mayor Kav. Tri Atmojo during a regular visit held at Untar Campus I on Tuesday (28/7/2026). The Rector was accompanied by Untar Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psikolog, and Head of Untar Public Relations Office Rorlen, S.E., M.M.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the importance of maintaining the strong communication that has been established over the years while exploring opportunities for collaboration to support educational activities, community service, and various programs involving the communities surrounding the campus.
Prof. Amad stated that the longstanding relationship serves as an important foundation for expanding future collaboration. According to him, higher education institutions cannot fully carry out their role without the support and cooperation of various stakeholders, including local authorities who have a deep understanding of the needs of the surrounding community.

“The strong relationship we have built over the years provides an important foundation for expanding our collaboration. Through this meeting, we hope that the coordination between Untar and Koramil 03/Grogol Petamburan will continue to grow in supporting various initiatives that bring benefits to the community,” he said.
Major Kav. Tri Atmojo expressed his appreciation for Untar’s contributions, noting that the university has been actively organizing various activities for the community in the Grogol Petamburan area. According to him, these programs not only benefit residents but also strengthen the relationship between the university and the community. He hopes that the communication that has been established can be maintained, thereby opening the door to various collaborative programs that benefit both the community and the world of education.
The meeting also served as an introductory occasion for Mayor Kav. Tri Atmojo following his appointment as Commander of Koramil 03/Grogol Petamburan in early June 2026, succeeding Mayor Inf. Manatap Rajagukguk, S.E., M.H., M.M. The occasion reaffirmed the continuity of the longstanding partnership between Untar and Koramil 03/Grogol Petamburan, which has been maintained through regular communication and coordination.
