Agustinus Purboyo was conferred a doctoral degree at the Open Examination of the Doctoral Program in Management Studies (DIM), on Tuesday (11/6) at the Auditorium of Campus I, Universitas Tarumanagara.
His dissertation, titled “Curriculum Model and World-Class Military Education System,” successfully earned a cum laude distinction with a GPA of 4.00. Agustinus, who is also a high-ranking officer of the Indonesian Army (TNI AD), becomes the fourth graduate of the DIM Program at Universitas Tarumanagara.
In his presentation, he explained that his choice of dissertation topic was driven by his desire to improve the quality and competence of the military within the Indonesian Army. He emphasized that such competencies are essential for soldiers in facing uncertain and rapidly changing global conditions, particularly in the field of information technology.

Agustinus highlighted the importance of a curriculum model in developing a World Class Army. The proposed curriculum is considered capable of providing a supportive environment for soldiers.
“This curriculum sharpens military skills and enhances professionalism by placing greater emphasis on ethics, military values, and high standards in training and education,” he stated. He also expressed hope that the curriculum could be implemented in the duties and responsibilities of every soldier.
